Air travelers from China to U.S. now required to provide negative COVID-19 test or documentation of recovery

Beginning on January 5, 2023, a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of recovery will be required for air passengers traveling from China to the United States.

This new requirement applies to all travelers two years old and older with flights originating in the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, and Macau, regardless of nationality and vaccination statusThe Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has laid out full details in their press release here and includes a list of authorized tests here.
