USCIS Conducts 3rd Lottery Selection of H-1B Cap Cases

On November 19, 2021, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) conducted a third round of random selections from previously submitted FY 2022 H-1B cap registrations for the first time in history. The ImLaw team has notified clients whose H-1B registrations have been selected in this latest round. Employer clients can also check their myUSCIS accounts to see if the latest status of a cap registration has changed from “Submitted” to “Selected”. For selected registrations in the third round, the period for filing H-1B cap petitions begins on November 22, 2021 and ends on February 23, 2022.
